We paid in to Istanbul's equivalent of the Tate Modern and all we got was this pretty amazing mid-1900's power plant

9 hours of walking and a day of trying everything the vendors were selling

 We can't escape it, huge, fluffy, wind up hearts are here too. Mmmm.

Çay (tea- pronounced ch-ai)

 

Galata tower and Galata bridge.  Fishermen are there, on both sides, seemingly 24/7. Sometimes their wives and children come down and they have Çay by the side of the bridge whilst fishing.

On top of Galata tower at sunset, the mental tourist attraction that it is. The most beautiful 360° views.
